Talk to us about your plumbing office

Call, text or email (604) 632-4959 or Ali@Sedighi.ca. Tell us how many people answer your phones and roughly how many calls you get a week, and a senior strategist will get back to you.

Ring or text (604) 632-4959, or write to Ali@Sedighi.ca, and the conversation has started. Office hours: Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific. We usually reply within one business day. You will talk with a senior strategist who understands plumbing offices, not a call centre.

Plumbers.Consulting is a business and marketing consulting service, not a plumbing contractor. If you need a plumber for a leak at your home, please call a licensed local plumbing company; we can't send anyone.

What happens next

  1. Send a short note

Your business name, city and what you need.

  2. Get a reply

Ali or a senior strategist answers, usually the next business day.

  3. Plan the next step

If it fits, you get a clear proposal. If not, honest advice.

What to include in your message

A few details let us give you a useful answer on the first reply. Rough numbers are fine; nobody expects an audit before the first conversation.

  • Your company name and the province or territory you work in
  • How many people answer the phone, including the owner after hours
  • Roughly how many calls you get in a normal week, and in your busiest week
  • Whether you record calls today, and with what system
  • What you think is going wrong: missed calls, price questions, new staff, or something else

If you know last month's booking rate, include it. If you don't, that is the most common answer we hear, and our booking rate guide shows how to work it out.

A sample first message

Feel free to copy and adapt this template by text or email:

Hi, this is [Your name] from [Business name] in [City, Province]. We have [number] people answering phones and get about [number] calls a week. Our main problem is [missed calls / price questions / new CSR / other]. We [do / don't] record calls. Best time to reach me is [day and time].

That is enough for us to suggest which workshop to start with before we even speak.

What happens next

Here is how the first two weeks usually go after you reach out. Nothing on this list commits you to anything until you choose a plan.

  1. We reply within one business day, usually by your preferred method, to set up the free 30-minute consultation.
  2. The consultation. We ask about your office, your calls and your goals, and you ask us anything.
  3. A short proposal. We suggest one or two workshops, a timeline and the plan that fits. Plan prices are on the pricing page.
  4. The call review. If you go ahead, we review a sample of your recent calls, or arrange a live sit-in, before the first workshop.
  5. Workshops begin, scheduled around your busiest hours.

Before you send call recordings

If you plan to share recordings with us, make sure callers were told about recording and its purpose. The federal privacy commissioner explains the expectations in its guidance on recording customer telephone calls, and our guide to recording calls for training summarises the basics. We don't need recordings to get started; a live sit-in works too.

Please don't send customer payment details, full credit card numbers or anything similar in any message. We never need them.

If you are not sure we are the right fit

Some enquiries are better served elsewhere, and we would rather say so early. If your main question is how to price jobs, structure your crews or plan the next five years of the business, that is owner-level consulting, and our sister service Plumber.Consulting covers it. If you need more calls rather than better booking, the broader Trades.Agency plans include marketing.

If you are not sure which bucket you are in, send the message anyway. Part of the free consultation is telling you honestly where to start, even when the answer is somewhere other than us.

Where we are

We are based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and work with plumbing companies in every province and territory, mostly over live video. Plumbers.Consulting is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, led by Ali Sedighi, MBA. Learn more on the About page, or browse areas we serve to see how we adapt to your region.

Call, text or email whenever you are ready. The worst outcome is a free conversation that tells you where your phones stand.

Frequently asked questions

What are your hours?

Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific. We usually reply within one business day. Messages sent in the evening or on weekends are answered on the next business day.

Should I call or text?

Whichever suits you. A text is handy if you are in the truck or between calls; a phone call is better if you want to talk it through right away.

Do I need any numbers before I contact you?

No, but rough figures help: how many people answer the phone, about how many calls you get in a normal week, and whether you record calls. Guesses are fine.

Will I be pushed into a plan on the first call?

No. The first consultation is free and has no obligation. If we don't think we can help, we'll say so.
